EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
Articles in original condition, accompanied by a receipt, may be exchanged or refunded within 10 days of purchase. 10% or $300.00 restocking fee for all Bridal sales. All estate jewelry is final sale. Items returned after 10 days will receive a merchandise credit. No returns are accepted after 30 days. Gift recipients will be issued a merchandise credit only, no refunds. Credits or refunds will be issued in accordance with the original method of payment. Cash and check refunds will be made by company check. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Special orders are not returnable, and no refund or exchange can be made. All special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered at the client's request.
Articles placed on layaway will be held for a period of 30 days, with a minimum deposit of 50%. If no satisfactory arrangements have been made for full payment before the end of this period, the item(s) will be returned to stock. Layaway deposits and payments are non-refundable after 10 days of the original layaway, but may be applied to the purchase of other merchandise. Completed layaways are not returnable or exchangeable.
CENTER STONE WARRANTIES
Providence Diamond cannot be responsible for the loss of the center stone, or any primary stone, from any item we sell or repair. Please consult your insurance agent for information about how to insure your important pieces of jewelry against such a loss, or any other mishap. We will, upon request, be happy to provide you with an appraisal for any item we sell.
GEMSTONE DAMAGE DISCLAIMER
Providence Diamond uses special care in the handling and setting of gemstones, but cannot be responsible for any damage that may occur in such handling and setting. Further, Providence Diamond cannot be responsible for damage attributable to unstable enhancement processes, or for pressure or heat-sensitive stones, or stones with fractures, as there is an inherent risk in handling and setting them.
SALE ITEM EXCLUSIONS
Sale pricing is final and not applicable to prior purchases, layaways, or special orders. Sale items cannot be put on layaway.
GEMSTONE ENHANCEMENT DISCLOSURE
Gemstone purchasers should be aware that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally-accepted gem and jewelry industry practices. If your purchase includes a gemstone, please note that many gemstones have historically and traditionally been enhanced to improve color and/or stability. Such enhancements may include, but are not limited to, heat treatment, irradiation, and impregnation. All relevant information will be readily provided to the best of our knowledge. Prevailing market values are based on these universally practiced and accepted processes by the gem and jewelry trade.
Watch overhauls are warrantied for 1 year and batteries for life.The warranty does not cover watches which have been abused, tampered with, or if the watch shows signs of rust resulting from water damage. We are not responsible for worn or broken parts which were not necessary to replace at the time of the overhaul. There are no warranties on crystals, stems or crowns, or watchbands. Once a water resistant watch has been opened to change the battery, it may no longer retain its water resistancy; Providence Diamond does not warranty any water resistant watch against leakage after a battery change.
SERVICING AND CLEANING
Providence Diamond will clean and check the prongs of any item purchased here free of charge. We recommend that this be done at least twice per year.
SPECIAL ORDERS AND CUSTOM MADE ITEMS
Require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Such items are non-returnable and any payments made will be forfeited.
RETURNED CHECK FEE
A $50.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks due to insufficient funds.
REPAIR TAKE IN
I agree that the approximate values and descriptions of the item(s) listed are correct, and I accept the following terms and conditions: This store is not responsible for items left in store after 90 days, after repair is complete. This store, including its employees, accepts no responsibility for condition or identification of jewelry or stones upon receipt. Items are submitted to this store for repair only and this store will not act as an insurer of the items listed. Responsibility for loss, theft, or damage is accepted by this store only when due to their negligence. Any damage or loss due to this store's negligence will be limited to the cost to repair or replace the items and will not exceed the value declared. Should no value be listed, it will be assumed the value is less than $75.00.
